DIY L7 Understanding group dynamics

This module builds on Module L1 - Basic leadership skills. The aim of this module is to introduce some basic concepts for understanding group life. In particular the module focuses on the “task” and “maintenance” roles of group life. When participants have completed the work for this module, they will be able to discuss the roles that they can play in a group and to encourage them in being more alert and sensitive to the ways in which they can influence group life, either as a leader or member.
